Running Test Cases
Test cases can be executed individually or as part of a suite to verify application functionality. Each execution provides detailed results, allowing users to review and address any issues.
To run a test case:
- Navigate to the Test Cases section.
- Select the dropdown menu next to the test case you want to edit and choose Run Testcase.
- Select the Execution Profile to be used for the test run. The execution profile determines the browser and environment in which the test case will be executed.
- Select the Dataset to be used for the test run. If you select the default dataset, the test case will be executed with the default values of the variables.
- If you wanted to send Email Reports, select the email report group from the Send Test Report To dropdown.
- Click Run Test Case to start the test execution.
The test case will be scheduled for execution, and you can monitor the progress and results in real-time in Test Runs.
You can run test cases with different execution profiles to simulate various user environments and conditions. This allows you to test your application across different browsers. To learn more about execution profiles, refer to the Execution Profiles guide.
You can run test cases with different datasets to test your application with different data inputs. This allows you to validate the application's behavior with various data scenarios. To learn more about datasets, refer to the Variables and Dataset guide.
